Black may look a little harsh. It can look harsh on a lot of people. If you're wanting to go darker go for darkest brown as it doesn't have as much of that blue pigment that makes black well, black lol it'll give you that darker look but not as harsh and easier to get out if you want to lighten your hair.

The lighter color softens your face more and affords you a much more sweet, alluring quality.. With the black hair your features are a bit harder.
