I definitely prefer a shiny red lip because it feels more comfortable for everyday wear but matte seems to give the best effect.
I love the way the colour seems lighter in the middle to give the look more depth.
My favourite at the moment is 'man trap' by Soap & Glory, it doesn't even need a liner!

Cosign on Stila's Beso. I just uploaded a video using it today and it is stunning. I think for most clients any long lasting blue-red is good.
