I need a good foundation and primer that will get me through a 10hour shift day, I'm currently using Kat Von D and loreal primer, after 6 hours my foundation breaks and looks blotchy. (Dk if that makes sense lol) any suggestions?? 😞

I have no suggestions :( sorry, but do you usually apply toner and hydratation with oil control before your primer? That can help.

There are a few foundations that I've found that work really well on my oily skin. Makeup Forevers face and body foundation is amazing, but is light coverage. its very buildable, but still on the lighter side. It Cosmetics CC cream stays all day, with little to no splotchyness. its more of a.medium coverage. and bare minerals in the matte formula. with all these I do have to touch up with a translucent powder. but thats just to keep any shine away. as far as primers go I love bare minerals oil control primer.

Although pricy I've had great success with hourglass mineral veil primer and immaculate liquid powder foundation. I like the IT cosmetics CC cream too but I am recently loving cover FX CC cream. They make a great oil control primer with salicylic acid. For a super matte finish Becca primer is great.

I wore the cover FX CC cream today for 12+ hours and it held up really well after a crazy day.

As soon as you're done with applying foundation, blot it with blotting paper or a tissue (press it lightly on your face) so that it absorbs all the access mousture and oil on the face due to applying foundation. This makes makeup last longer without getting shiny. Another trick is time spray a bit of deodorant on your t zone. Good luck :)

Este Lauder double wear foundation is the best for oily skin!! I just started using it and I loveit...keeps your face matte and also use the loreal pore vanisher as my primer 😊
