What do you guys think about henna hair dye? I've never dyed my hair before so I think its a good start but some people think is should just dye it instead. What do you guys recommend?

Henna is really good for your hair. I've dyed my hair before and I love it. I've used it over old dye and it covered it perfectly. My hair STILL (after many months and hair dyes) has that red tint in it from the henna. I think you should go with henna. I have to disagree with Jacqlyn about about chemical dyes lasting longer. Maybe if you go to the salon but I'm a hair dying junkie and nothing has ever lasted longer than henna.

It's a good choice if you're sticking with it for awhile. It can interfere with hair dye if you're wanting to go a different color.

Depending on the colour, henna can be the biggest pain in the butt to remove!
