So, I just wanted to show this outfit off because I'm absolutely in love with it. Also, us there anything I can add to make it more kawaii? (Kawaii is "cute" in Japanese and I'm sort of falling into this style, as I really dig it. But is there anything I can add to it? (I'm not one to wear statement jewelry or anything.)

A maroon sweater with a plaid schoolgirl-like skirt, tights, and Toms.

Ah, thank you! I was thinking a bow, but a gold tone necklace. Just something simple, but pretty. I'll try to look out for any bows though.

Super cute!! Love that look!! Like Lexi recommended a cute neck bow or tie would definitely be perfect💕

These are the trends esp. in Shibuya. Their fashion is colorful and fun. They wear a pop of color and not just all black. Usually they wear sneakers or booties with colorful leg warmers over the black leggings. Or they wear colorful or patterned leggings. With colorful hair or makeup. Think of a cosplay. So switch Toms with wedged sneakers. Then work on your hair.

My hair is a minty-ish green and blonde at the moment, and I'm digging the leg warmer idea. Thanks, Mylene!

Me too. It's so cute! I wish I could wear a dress like in the picture you just sent. Oh my gosh. Too kawaii, Lexi~~
