I have the hardest time using my wand curler and was wondering if there is a trick to it. Can you help please?

I wouldn't say there is necessarily a trick. You just have to practice practice practice! Wands typically are harder to use and do require practice.

You want to ensure that all of the hair is receiving heat..so avoid overwrapping your coils. Use the length of the barrel..take advantage of it...and wrap your hair around the barrel rather than wrapping it in one section of the barrel so that it overlaps itself. Section off your hair and work in smaller sections for neater, bouncier curls. Be sure to use a heat protectant. After you release a curl..let it cool and then spray it. My fav is Redken 28. Allow all of your curls to cool and then use either a pick or your fingers to gently comb them at first. I'd also invest in a Wet Brush..which does not snag curls. Good luck!
