Tomorrow I'm getting eyelash extensions with my bff. She found a coupon on groupon so I said I'd go with her. I'm happy because I hate applying mascara (only part of makeup I hate). but I'm kinda nervous too... I hate when they look too fake and trashy (sorry). and when they're too long and become sparse... what should I ask for? any tips on upkeep?
on a whole different note, when is the anastasia contour kit being rereleased? I'm soooo impatient..
thanks girls!!

I love my eyelash extensions!! I don't wear eyeliner to often with the because it can make them stick together and fall off a lot sooner. and if you do wear eyeliner make sure to clean your lashes good. I use a eye brow brush to brush mine everyday to keep them looking nice. just let them know you want them natural. I have mine long but they still look very nice and natural and I get compliments everywhere I go. good luck.

Make sure the girl there knows not to make them too long. If you have thin 10mm lashes ultra thick 17's will last you three days at most and cause damage to your lashes. Shower tonight, because it's best if you don't expose them to water for the first 48 hours to allow the glue to fully set. Don't over expose them to water and steam, you can still go out about your daily routine but maybe re think that sauna trip you know? Also brush them! Use a spooly or buy a brush there. Be sure to avoid wearing tons of makeup, but if you can't help it use oil free makeup removed and lint free pads to avoid tugging the lashes. You don't need Mascarra, but if you must just use non waterproof water based mascarra.

I've had them before and they look great and lasted ages because you looked after them. However I already have naturally long lashes and when they fell out/ got taken off I found they were very sparse and not as full. but they have grown back now. I think everybody should at least try them they look lovely :-) x
