Opi lasts longer and is usually the same or similar price... But the displays at target for Essie get me every time :( plus I've been using opi for ages and its definitely my favorite

I like both. For longevity, it seems to depend on the color. I've had OPI & Essie colors that chip quickly.

For me, it depends on the color. I looove nudes and neutrals and Essie does those beautifully so I lean towards Essie however OPI Has great great collections !
