There's a lot of different kinds of face makeup. foundation, primer, concealer, highlight/contour powder, etc. were you looking for a specific kind of face makeup, or just anything?

What's your skin type? (Combo, oily, dry, normal) what are you looking for?

Well, what I usually buy is a lot of concealer, but that's just me...otherwise if you are new with makeup you should buy an eyeshadow pallet from Profusion or something that you can find that you can really enjoy. I suggest you get some things from Maybelline...they have good products. You can look on this you tubers channel taliajoy18 she does make up tutorials and she does beauty hauls where she explains what kind of make up she buys, she says the name and their prices. I hope this helped :)

I could go on for hours about all the different kinds of makeup from which brands, but I'll just tell you what I use :p
primer: Too Faced Primed & Poreless
foundation: NARS Sheer Matte
concealer: Tarte Maracuja Creaseless concealer
powder: Tarte Smooth Operator finishing powder (gives a matte finish so works wonders with matte foundations)
contour: I just use a cool toned pressed powder about 2 shades darker that my skin tone
highlighter: Benefit Watts Up illuminator
^ that covers my face makeup, & all are definitely worth every penny. you can watch YouTube videos to help you learn proper techniques, but I would watch videos from actual industry professionals like GossMakeupArtist, Jorden Liberty, & Jaclyn Hill c:
