Brown gel liner better for me?

I'm headed to Ulta today to pick up some items and can't decide if I should get BLACK or BROWN gel liner (Maybelline). I'm a redhead, so I have fair skin and usually don't wear eye makeup. But would a winged out brown liner look ok? Thanks for the help.

I'd definitely go for the brown if I were you. You could always go back and get black later on but I feel like you'll find you use brown more.

I always wear dark brown liner. Black just seems to harsh on me and I'm not even fair. I'm about an NC30. A really rich dark brown can be just as impactful as black & can even look a little like black without that inky look. I like browns that are brown/black in color as opposes to a chocolate brown.
