I use one of those thing s that cover your eyes while you sleep I don't remember what they're called but Its kinda like a blind fold cx mine says do not disturb xD lol and it seems to help cause it keeps my eyes closed and doesn't allow them to open so I just fall asleep d:

Magnesium chelate, 500g. I was recently having bad sleep problems where I couldn't sleep until 4am and had uni the next morning. I went to my local chemist/pharmacist and got 'natures own' magnesium chelate (500g caplets) I have one with dinner along with my daily vitamin, and I saw a very great improvement in my sleeping THAT NIGHT! it works fabulously and has helped me so much! I would definitely reccomend this because it has helped me so much and it also has benefits for your cardiovascular system and period cramps! try them out! sooo worth it.

Valerian root is a natural sleep remedy and is sold near the vitamins. Be sure to follow the label instructions. Warm almond milk (cocoa counts.lol) is high in calcium, which in turn encourages your body to produce serotonin. Serotonin elevates mood while releasing a calmness within the brain. Green tea detoxes and in some studies has shown a reduction in anxiety after consumption. Be sure to choose a tea without caffeine. Scents and sounds also affect sleep. Citrus energizes while Lavender soothes. I have a thunderstorm CD that puts me to sleep without fail. :)
Place a spoon in the freezer and keep it there. In the morning..place it on your puffy/baggy eyes and it will reduce inflammation. (another plus of green tea..it also does) so you can also place wet green tea bags on your eyes for a bit. Lastly, get a caffeine roller. CVS has a great one. It cools, soothes and depuffs the eye for cheap. Good luck!

I agree with hollie in most things.. except a quite room. if my room is quite, my mind starts talking and won't shut up!! I listen to soft rock (three days grace, greenday ect.) or the tv show "friends" playing in the background.

This is what I do
-exercise before I go to sleep. It wears me out.
-do yoga after I exercise, which relaxes me.
-drink chamomile tea
-read a book to sleep

You can buy meletonin ( I not sure how to spell it) over the counter in a pharmacy. Meletonin is the natural hormone/chemical in you body that tells your brain it's time to sleep. Between the ages of 14-25 you release less of this hormone and at a later time (that's why you don't fall asleep to 4am) unlike other sleeping tablets they don't knock you out cold they just make you fall asleep like normal.
