What are the 3 best things you have learned/ you like here on beautylish?

For my thats: 1 being confident about my own style, 2 a lot of amazing inspiration, 3 lovely people that are always there if I need advice about my makeup/outfits and more

I didnt know therr was such thing as contouring.
I didnt know the benifits of using a primer.

I have learned volumes about respect, and how it's extraordinarily important to our community.
I've learned that I can wear any color of eyeshadow, no matter what color my eyes are.
I've learned that everyone here just wants to be helpful and look beautiful, and there's nothing wrong with either of those things.

1. I have learned to research, research, and research when it comes to my skin care! Take DIY recipes with a grain of salt - most do more bad than good!

2. I agree with Mairead... I'm not that bad LOL. ( Okay maybe a little, I mean I don't ever wear falsies? I don't want to - I don't want another addiction! )

3. There is a forum that exists where everyone can be nice to each other!
Every Time someone comments about 'rudeness' I'm tempted to link them a gaming forum..
Simple things like not capitalizing a letter will get you attacked... That is just rude & unnecessary.

1. I learned that more love and care can exist in a pure forum among strangers than between you and people you see everyday in real life.

2. I've debunked so many makeup myths and YouTube misconceptions

3. I learned about so many new products and techniques in beauty

4. My bank account will always be at risk as long as I'm on Beautylish.

Where do I start! I know how to do stuff I never knew existed (in my defense, I was 13 when I joined haha :D). I've met so many amazing people from around the world and I LOVE YOU ALL:* you're all my family:*

1. That I should feel beautiful no matter what I look like.
2. That I'm loved by a hell of a lot of people than I ever thought I'd be loved by:)
3. That I'm totally, utterly crap at makeup, but hey I try!!

I don't think I'd be here if it wasnt for some of you, youve all helped me through everything and I love our closeness and how we all come together no matter how tough things are.

PS. Re the 'crap at makeup' thing, hey I can still try:D

I've learned my addiction to mascara isn't weird, that my wanting every make up brush out there is ok, having more than one foundation in my rotation is normal, and that I'm not the only person that feels she can't pull off eye shadow.

I can't list the things I've leaned on here. Lol way too many. But I've learned that my opinion DOES matter I've learned to be confident with myself and I've learned many things about makeup that I never knew before. Like how to apply eyeshadow.

Oh my, where do I begin on what I've learned lol. I've learned so much from different beauties. Of course some of my favorites are our moderators Alma and Jackie. I've been following BL for about a couple of years now and it's taught me that beauty comes in many forms, different styles, and it's taught me to appreciate the daring: I've even done makeup that for me is out of my comfort zone. This is a place to express and respect each other's artwork. I feel I've come a long way from the ordinary plain application. I LOVE MAKEUP!! :)

And yes... Beautylish is a little too beneficial for all these companies! Lol.
They should start paying us just like they pay all these beauty 'gurus'... we're all constantly buying make up LOL

1) Don't be afraid to touch your foundation. I can buff it/work it into the skin and it looks much better.
2) Even if I think I've blended my eyeshadow enough, go back and blend some more.

I'm sure I'll think of more later.
