YouTube has great vids!
Basically what you do is wrap only a portion of your hair to the straightener & pull it down and outwards. I agree is a little complicated trying to explain but YouTube videos make it so much simpler.

I've tried the way shown on YouTube and haven't had as much luck as simply using it kinda like a regular curling iron where I just hold it vertical to the scalp and start at the top then slowly twist the flat iron and pull down length of hair. Ha if that makes sense! Just twist as you pull through your hair until you've made a complete 180.

I had the same problem but its super easy once you get the hang of it. take your section of hair, clamp the straightener onto it and rotate your wrist away from your face as you pull it thru. basically put you hand in front of your face so you are looking at your wrist. holding your hand sideways like this <----> then you simply flip your wrist away from your face so that you end up looking at the back of your hand now instead of your wrist. That simple movement is all you have to master. its just a simple flip of the hand as you pull thru your section.
