I'm going to a national broadcasting competition this weekend and I have to have nice hair all weekend. I don't want to have to curl my hair all weekend, what rollers can I use to get the same type of curls from a curling wand?

Can you post a picture of the curls you're looking for? It is possible to create different curls with a wand.

Depends on hair length. Yes...you can using very large foam rollers..I'm talkin' supa big. You'd want to use a setting foam for your wet set. But if you aren't a seasoned roller, right before a big competition is not a good time to experiment. You COULD get long lasting curls like that for a full 4 to 5 days with a flat iron and Redken 28. Mine last a week and I sleep in a loose bun.
If you aren't up for that.. make an apt. at a salon for a "special styling" the day before you leave. Let her know how you want your curls..they can do them a little tighter since they fall slightly. You can check Yelp or Foursquare to find a reputable stylist if you don't know one. Good luck!
