Put the hot rag on your eye and rub a little to break it up. Be gentle! Make sure you're doing this EVERY NIGHT. I've had 2 styes and both nearly required surgery to remove (I thank God that he healed me :) ) and they got so bad because I didn't take it seriously.

A stye is an inflamed oil gland, so keep anything that can be clogging it away from your eye. this includes eyeshadow, mascara (eye makeup in general). Also, if you have dandruff, that could be getting in the glands too. Make sure to wash your eyes often, but be very gentle.

Rub a gold ring or something on it, it has to be real gold though for it to work. My grandma taught me that and it's worked for me a few times :)
