What are some affective ways to apply glitter? By that I mean, is using lash glue okay, or is it a must to have cosmetic glitter glue?
Thanks in advance ladies.:))))

I head that fix plus from Mac helps to wet the glitter so it'll stay when it dries. 💋

I've seen some people use lash glue before and it worked fine.

I really like the Too Faced Glitter Glue, and I know Alma really likes the LA Splash glitter adhesive. I find lash glue to be too rubbery to have the glitter adhere to, and I've tried both ways. The glitter glue, in my mind, is a must.

I sometimes use eyedrops to make the glitter attach to my eyes and then it sets an makes it really pigmented

It just all depends on the kind of look your trying to achieve! If I just want a little bit of sparkle to complete a look I will spray my brush with either fix +, or some type of makeup setting spray (like urban decay all nighter) and I'll take a clean flat shader brush and lightly pat the spray where I want the glitter placed & then lightly pat the glitter over top. This gives a more natural effect. If I'm going for an all out glitter look, or if I want to concentrate the glitter in certain area I'll use either Violet's secret weapon from Violet Voss, Sally girl glitter glue, or too faced shadow insurance. Sally girl, and Violet Voss are my favorite though! It really helps the glitter to adhere and last all day. I never use lash glue because like Hannah said, it is too rubbery to adhere properly.. And it's not always that fun to take off your eyelid!
