Hiya everyone, I wondered if anyone would be up for giving me a bit of advice on a change of style maybe? I always tend to do almost exactly the same things with hair, make-up etc.as I lost a lot of confidence growing up so now at twenty years old I'm almost still stuck to exact same style routines as I was four years ago at sixteen and now I've regained my confidence and feel so amazing I've been wanting to change it up a bit and wondered if anyone could help as I'm really stuck about it. If anyone does offer advice, I can give you any other information you might need. :)

Well what is your current style? that way we can suggest better. With makeup try to do a new thing every day. You don't need a ton of different makeup either you can just use the same few shadows but apply them differently. (trying gradient, banana and other styles of eye shadow) using different lip colors just try to switch it every day so you don't feel like your in such a rut.

Um it's different for different things, like with make up I tend to do simple pale brown/cream eyeshadow with slight eyeliner and lots of mascara and I've been wanting to experiment more as I feel confident now but at the same time I don't wanna go like too bright/eccentric.

Even though you're supposed to "be yourself" or whatever, sometimes it helps to get inspiration from other places. people watch, browse pinterest or instagram, flip through a fashion magazine, etc. eventually you'll get an idea of what kind of looks you like. as delaney said, keep testing things out. you might feel like you're sticking out like a sore thumb at first, but if you're confident and happy with how you look, you'll get over it. :)
