I used to experience the same thing. Hormonal acne drove me insane. Traci, our BL skincare guru, suggested I try flaxseed oil pills. Been taking them for several months now and what a huge difference it made. They contain the important Omega 3's that we should be incorporating in our diets anyway but the pills really amp it up if coming up short the old fashion way. I take two pills a day...one during breakfast and the other during dinner meals.

You can try using salicylic products and tee tree spot treatment.and also try flaxseed pills or fish oil pills they both help with inflammation and hormonal breakouts ,

I know instant gratification isnt possible but how long before you seen the flare ups ending?

I had the same problem for 2 years straight. Switched my birth control to the lowest hormone level possible (nuva ring) and my skin cleared up in a week.

It took me a full cycle with mother nature before I saw a major difference. Its definitely not a cure all but it works for me.

Hormonal acne is the worst! And so is stress acne. Not like we can wave a magic wand to make it disappear. When I was in a bad marriage and then the nasty divorce, I broke out horribly-- even on my back, etc. So I can sympathize with you. I'm sure you already know to change your pillowcase often, clean your cell frequently (a major cause in my case) and keep your hands off your face period. no resting your chin in your palm, etc. :)

Tea tree oil works well for my hormonal acne just reducing redness n painful ness associated with the cystic type bumps (hurts so bad) also I find that eating healthy (like straight salads n water) and except use to destress helps too - oh and yoga... Love yoga! But that's usually how I deal with it and can usually get the bumps to go away within a few weeks with the use of Mario badescu buffering lotion at night and a sulfur mask once a week.

Mario badescu has awesome super effective acne products. I did notice a change in my hormonal acne after I upped the omega 3!! Mine looked similar to yours at times. Learned it from stalking this app lol!!

Traci on point, as always. You may also want to invest in Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy. It reduces redness while drying out spots with crazy quickness.

I hope so. I think you'll be pleased with the results. Be sure to use a gentle moisturizer such as CeraVe or Sweet Almond Oil to counter any dryness...and best of luck to you.
