I don't cosplay (though I want to lol), but promise phan (and sometimes Michelle) on YouTube does awesome transformations into celebrities or characters so there is tons of tricks in them on how to change the shape of various parts of the face and transform into a completely different person.

Hmmm I haven't done anything where I've had to do drastic changes but I generally like to make sure I have super good setting powder and spray when I cosplay during the summer so my makeup doesn't budge.

I don't really cosplay but I like to dress up for Halloween and stuff. I watch a girl on YouTube who cosplays as a lot of different characters from Loki, Mystique and Rumplestiltskin from Once Upon A Time. She's got some good tips and her videos are pretty basic so they're easy to try on your own. I am always impressed by her because I know how to make things the more "elaborate" way since I went to special effects school, but she is able to make some really cool looks using easy to access materials. I'll post a screenshot of her page and username because it isn't super easy to type without me actually looking at the word haha. I also like Goldiestarling, she has effects videos if you're looking for some gorey stuff :)
