You can use lemon.. I'm not sure if it will damage your hair. Usually for me just being in the sun would lighten my hair.

Look up how to do a cinnamon and honey hair lightening treatment, it's pretty subtle but won't turn it orange or damage your hair.

Honey contains trace amounts of hydrogen peroxide, the same chemical as hair lighteners (e.g. Sun-In).
Your best bet is to see a professional and get it done in a salon. They will know how to minimize damage and achieve the best results.
Going lighter ALWAYS damages your hair, no matter what you use. It may not be outwardly apparent, but it will be damaged.
Also a note about products containing chamomile: DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO RAGWEED. You can have a serious allergic reaction (up to and including anaphylaxis). Just don't risk it.
