I don't know if anyone else has this problem with Revlon Matte Lipsticks but they are sooo chalky and patchy on my lips. I've never had this problem with any other brands matte lipsticks. Do you have the same problem?

I actually find them quite moisturizing compared to most brands. granted, I always exfoliate and apply a clear balm to my lips before I apply any lip color product.

I don't really use matt lipsticks but I have found that revlon products seem to be well...lower quality than many department store brands across the board. I keep giving their products a chance and they keep disappointing :(

I have :/ love the nude attitude lipstick but it always comes out dry. I don't always wanna wear gloss but always end up having to smear some on so it doesn't look so chalky

@Kenzie, I do the same thing but they look horrible on my lips ):
@Nicole I'm not highly impressed with Revlon lol. I hate their foundation, I have quite a few of their super lustrous lipsticks which are okay but need to be reapplied constantly. I bought a few of their matte lipsticks because they were on sale for super cheap but I'm really disappointed.
Instead I just apply a lipgloss over it so that it doesn't look dry :p

I have experienced thing. I bought two of their matte lipsticks and one of them was really patchy and drying where as the other one had a nice consistence. :(..I try exfoliating and everything and nothing helped the look of that lipstick on my lips.

You should try the Colorburst Matte Balm Sticks. Those things are the most amazing matte formula of all time, and I've never had a problem with them being chalky or patchy.

Hmm maybe its certain colors that are better formulated than others? I also have their just bitten stains and I like those as well "/

I've been scared to use matte lippies because everyone talks about how they dry your lips out. And my lips are always dry as it is :( but I'm not a huge fan of super glossy shiny lips all the time either. Sorry you lippies are chalky :( that's such a bummer when you see a sale and you are excited to buy it and then it's just a huge let down :(

The Just Bitten Kissable balm stain sticks are my go to. The colors and staying power is so much better than some high end brands.
