Hey dolls..I burned my leg on a motorcycle in december and have a gigantic scar. I hadn't really thought about it all winter bc it was covered but now its spring and I want it to fade...any other burn victims out there? is it too late to make it fade?

Give it time girl! I burnt my leg with my curling iron on it's highest heat and it like shocked me so I didn't grab it off right away, was like on my inner thigh worst spot! But it has faded a lot in about a year and a half to a really light scar :)

And maybe bio oil! That Is what I used occasionally on it, it did seem to help!

You have too rub it a lot which is the most important! But I heard that cocoa butter or Vaseline/petroleum jelly stuff helps too!:)

Apply vitamin e oil twice a day really massaging the skin so you don't end up with scar tissue making it lumpy and harder to treat. if you need to cover it before it fully fades, which my doctor told me scars take 3-4 years to stop changing then use a Concealer like glamoflauge by hard candy. Mine isn't a burn scar but I have some pretty good ones from surgery that goes up the side of my leg and one on the heel to the knee. the most important part is making sure you message the oil in for at least 10 minutes.

Also make sure to use a spf on it since the skin is more sensitive on a scar
