I have had some coconut oil in my hair for the last couple hours and am getting ready to shower soon.
So here's my question, can I use cleansing conditioner to wash it out or do I need to use regular shampoo? I've never tried the coconut oil hair treatment and decided to do this without thinking about how to get it out.

You might want to use shampoo, I find it helps to get all the oil out.

The only shampoo I have is argan oil shampoo, do you think it will still get it out?

Its not hard to come out..I don't know what kind of hair you have but I don't shampoo..I cowash bc I have dry curly hair so my hair never gets oily and I put of ton of it in my hair..it should work w any type of shampoo.

Got it out after 2 shampoos I think, waiting for it to dry still but looks and feels very smooth.
