Lots of mascaras claim they're smudge proof but lots of them prove otherwise!! Ha! But what mascara out there are really smudge proof and glides nice and smooth like silk? I'm constantly searching! Help!

i have a similar issue...my eyes tear a lot in winter! Benefit "they're real" ($22) works for me and so does e.l.f's studio lengthening and volumizing mascara ($3)

the magic is ALL IN THE BRUSH and the QUALITY of the mascara it self.. if found many mascaras that either have excellent brushes but garbage mascara or the opposite. the BEST brushes r the PLASTIC ones preferably long bristles those other brushes r trash

I just got a mascara from Walmart...Ginormous Lashes by Hard Candy...doesn't really make ur lashes ginormous but it applies smoothly and it doesn't smudge! yay! i think i love it. but i'll also try some of the suggestions here. Like the popular They're Real by Benefit :)
