I've never tried photo ready, but I have tried colorstay and it worked out alright for my oily skin. I stopped using it only because I didn't need all the coverage it gave so I just switched to nearly naked, which is a lighter formula. Most people will recommend colorstay for oily/combo skin though. You could always try the photo ready and if you don't like it, return it. I think most drugstores allow that.

I like the Photo Ready. Great coverage and staying power. I use it in summer sometimes when my skin is running less dry because I do find it a tad drying so I think it would work well on slightly oily skin.

For me the regular photo ready had no lasting power. It wasn't great. I also tried the photo ready air brushed foam. I like that better but it had a weird smell at first. Now it's fine.
