How do I use coconut oil in my hair & scalp without making it look greasy after washing?

I want it to grow, though. I think it will only grow if I apply it to my scalp?

Coconut oil makes yoir hair healthy, and the only way to make your hair grow faster is to keep it healthy. Which is why so many people.recommend it for hair growth.

Use coconut oil and castor oil, leave it on overnight on all of your hair! (It won't make it greasy if your hair is dry and damaged) wash out in the morning with a clarifying shampoo I use the Pantene aqua light one, maybe put some conditioner on your ends as they're more brittle. Do it twice a week and you'll see your hair getting better. Coconut oil is the only oil closest to the oil in your hair, it'll restore your hair and won't make it greasy if you wash it out properly, another idea if you wash your hair everyday try to start with natural shampoos (lush have some great ones) they are kind to your scalp and won't strip the oil as much so your hair can last for two or three days which means your hair will be healthier. If you dye your hair try dying it with henna next time (you can find these at lush aswell) they are a hassle to make but it's worth it as it doesn't damage your hair it protects it and leaves it soft and shiney and natural looking, however you can't go lighter but you wouldn't want to as it would ruin your hair even more. Sorry about the length of this hahaha.

You put it in your ends not in your scalp unless your taking a shower after.

Melt it, and Put it in a few hours before you shower, let it sit in your hair with a shower cap. When you shower, rinse it out, shampoo it really well, and only use a little bit of light conditioner, if any.
