Wondering if anyone has any tips on removing glitter nail polish, I've just taken mine off by putting cotton pad with nail polish remover on top of nail and then foil on top and leaving for a few minutes, love glitter nails but hate the hassle of taking it off, any tips :-)

You did exactly what I would've done, so I can't say I've got any tips for ya, sorry! But I have heard that it's easier to remove and does less damage if you put a base coat on underneath the glitter. Maybe like a clear coat or white?

I don't usually do that but I'll try that next time thanks :-)

I heard if you put glue under it like a base coat then put the glitter on it will peel off easily when you want to take it off.

I use acetone to take mine off, soak each nail for a few seconds then it usually wipes straight off. Acetone can be harsh on nails though but mine are always fine afterwards :)

I've heard using bits of felt is helpful because it's a little more sturdy than cotton balls. I also do the foil method and use acetone. It works a lot faster and unless you're doing glitter polish like every day it really hasn't done anything to my nails. I try to use it sparingly though.

I agree with Izzy. Elmer's Glue makes it sooo much easier to remove glitter. You can use it as a peel off base coat similar to OPI Peel Off Base Coat. There are videos on YouTube comparing the two(:
