I just push under my eye so my waterline isn't near my eye.

How I do it:
-gently (like actually super gently) pull down my bottom lid
-not-so-gently poke myself directly in the eye
-readjust and lightly rub the eyeliner on my lash line
-take a q tip and put it in the corner of my eye to soak up excess moisture
-let go of my lower lid

Before you begin, use a q-tip to get any excess moisture. Then use a Gel Eyeliner on your waterline, and immediately follow using a dark (black/dark brown) powder eye shadow or pigment with a tiny eyeliner brush. It seems to stay on best for me this way. :) Good luck. (Finish one eye, before you go to the next eye).

@Hannah, LMAO. So true! I wear contacts, so I prefer not to line my waterline unless it's a special occasion, so I've no tips to share. But I like the q-tip tip!

I wear contacts as well and every time I line my waterline some eyeliner always gets on my contacts LOL, now I line my waterline before putting my contacts in (: I do what Sharri said.

The way I started to line my waterline was to close my and pull my lower lash line down a bit to place the eyeliner onto my water line. I'd keep my eyes closed and run the pencil back and forth. I'd let go of my lower lash before I apply the eyeliner. This would line both my lower and upper lash line at the same time 😊😊. But I now just have my eyes open to line them x
