You might actually try a kids' detangling spray. They tend to have a lot of silicon in them, if that's a problem. :/

Maybe try a leave in conditioner.

I do use leave in conditioner and an argon oil serum. My hair is healthy but I've had a problem with tangles my whole life and I'm sick of it!

Try Moroccan deep conditioner, my hair is a long nightmare but I run my fingers through my hair with that after shampoo and it detangles my mess!

When my hair is tangled I just use my conditioner and use a lot and put it all through my hair, put it in a bun and wait 5-10 min then take the bun out then it's all nice and I can brush all the tangles out

I use a detangler/heat protectant called Beauty Protector and it takes the fight right outta my fine hair that knots easily. Also I've heard the Wet Brush is really good for that too.
