Yes, just take it off at night. NEVER..or at least try really hard not to sleep with makeup. That will cause breakouts. Trust me, I have two big knots on my forehead from doing that a few days ago. 😩

This would depend on a couple of factors;
1. The foundation itself. Some can cause long-term damage to the skin. A quality foundation is important if you are looking to use it everyday. Just because a drugstore dupe looks the same as xyz brand foundation, doesn't mean they have the same ingredients.
2. Proper skin care & maintenance. If you intend on wearing make up every day for the rest of your life, make sure you are putting 110% into your skin care routine. Lots of foundations ( high & low end ) have irritating ingredients and fragrances. It is up to you to figure out which foundation your skin can handle every day.
3. Always washing your face before bed. There is no reason to not spend 2 extra minutes to cleanse your skin of the gunk that was slathered on it.

If you're wearing foundation everyday, not BB or CC cream, I would suggest a primer. it helps to make sure your skin takes in less of the chemicals found in all foundations. make sure you wash your face every night and never sleep with it on.
