I like for their massive color variety. But my favorite thing from Mac is their Extra Dimension Blushes. All the Extra Dimension line is a hybrid of a cream & a powder. I appreciate that texture because I have really dry skin and don't like a lot of powder on my skin.. And I don't care for actual cream, gel or liquid blushes. So the ED are perfect. The apply like a powder but has a thin gel-like transparency even with the deeper colors.

MAC studio sculpt is great for dry/normal skin types. It's full coverage but doesn't have the same longevity as the studio fix or pro longwear liquid foundations. Studio fix powder is amazing for normal/oily skin but can look cakey easily if applied over liquid foundation and/or with the sponge applicator. Personally I think it's a great powder best worn on its own or with a tinted moisturizer underneath. Enjoy your new goodies!

Jacqlyn: it really depends on the sensitivity on your skin, MAC products have never broken me out. everyone's skin reacts differently with different products, for example, I've tried kat von d's foundation a long time ago and it completely broke me out, it works for other people, but not for me.

Jacqlyn have you tried any of the MAC liquid foundations? They're generally not good for sensitive or acne prone skin with the exception of match master and face and body.

You can build face and body up but it's a lot of work for day to day. Have you tried Lancôme teint idol ultra? Coverage is amazing and doesn't accentuate any dry patches.

Jacqlyn I'm still kind of new to this site so I'm not sure if it's rude that I'm using someone else's post to talk to you. Email me at amandawilkiemua@gmail.com if you'd like.

Jacqlyn: same here, my acne right now is pretty severe (in my eyes) and it's never been this bad, at first I thought it was maybeline's baby face pore eraser but I stopped using it, I started rotating my products and none of them were why I was breaking out, it came down to my eating habits. And I'm so bad with breakouts, I pick at them even tough I know it's not good.

Jacqlyn: it's so hard for me to stop once I have started. I tried coverfx for a while, I purchased it a while ago, along with the waterproof setting powder, and it just makes me look super cakey, it makes my skin look really dry and it's almost as if it I makes my acne scabs stand out more. I use the foundation more as a concealer sometimes. You should totally try going to MAC, have them match you up. One thing I highly recommend, is taking your own clean foundation brush that they can use when they apply. Or apply it on yourself. I went to a Mac once and they tried using a dirty brush on me once, they sprayed it with brush cleanser but that wasn't clean enough for me (taken in consideration that i'm acne prone), so I asked if they could use a disposable sponge instead.

I love love love my Studio Fix NC-43. I always used to use NC-45 until just recently when the lady at Mac rematched my color. But I love it and can't even think about using a different compact. :)
