Hair advice (again)

I have my hair black right now, just cut a few inches off and am wanting to cut another inch or so off soon! Before I do that I want to color my hair, either touch up my roots or get something else going...what would look good? Blonde? Red violet?? I'm not sure, I love my black hair but I don't know if adding something would be cuter.Here's my profile picture. What do you ladies think?

I've got black too and have to admit it can look a bit boring at times... Tint of red would look fab 👍
