For hair:
I know a huge hair trend in the 80s was like a really voluminous Mohawk style. Just apply a styling gel or spray to your hair, the back comb it through the centre of your head ( from back to the front of the head, making sure you tease your hair while doing this to give the amazing volume.

For makeup:
Try really bold, bright Colours for the makeup. Even neon shades would work well. You can use these Colours for eye makeup especially.
Be dramatic!

They loved their big eyebrows in the 80's, and bright & bold colours for makeup. Put a lot of volume into your hair, maybe a few curls, and you're ready to go :-)
