I have naturally dark brown hair, I've never dyed it before I'm turning 15 and I want to lighten it but naturally so is there any way I can do it.

I heard honey can lighten you hair but I'm not sure.

Please dolt try to naturally lighten it----Be careful if you have dark brown hair to begin with- it will probably become a nasty orangey color (even with sun in). I always hate saying this, but it's best to get it dyed at a salon. Sorry! But like I said, dark brown hair and lighteners... NOT a good idea. :( my good friend used it and she had this unnatural orange color that she couldn't get rid of without dying it back to her original color. Just my advice, but I hope whatever you end up doing works!

Honey gives you natural temporary highlights I've done it before.

Spending a lot of time in the sun (a few hours every day) would lighten your hair.

In the spring/ summer on a sunny day: put some lemon juice in your hair and sit in the sun for about 30 mins- it will make it lighter, and give it highlights!

Mix cinnamon, honey and conditioner in a bowl, rub into desired area in hair ( I personally chose ends only ). Clip it up, glad wrap it then leave over night and wash out in the morning. It makes your hair soft, light and smell really nice :-)
