It was a bright red lippie in a yellow tube and a clear lid. I thought I was all that and then some. Lol I was probably about 8 and I remember I was sooo excited, I didn't even wait to get out of the car to put it on. I can still hear my mom saying, "Wow, that turned out better than I expected. I don't know too many grownups who can put on red lipstick in a moving car, but without a mirror?"

When I was a kid it was very firstly Lip Smackers hahaha. Then Mary-Kate and Ashley had a line of eyeshadow and lip gloss and my aunt would take me out and let me buy it by the handful lol.
Then when I was middle school age I was obsessed with My Chemical Romance (I still love them, they're one of my favorites to this day. Their earlier work was pretty heavy on theatrics and I think its a huge reason I ended up becoming so into art, effects and makeup.) and I wanted red eyeshadow so I could do my makeup like theirs. I found some at Hot Topic, and I think I still have it somewhere at my parents house haha. Then I wanted a dark shadow so my aunt took me out and got me 'Constellation" eyeshadow from Lancome which was a sparkly grey shadow. We got grey so my mom wouldn't flip out over full on black but she still flipped lmao. Ahh I miss the good ol days of too much black liner actually. I know people don't really see it as a deliverable look but I always have loved the look and the feel of it. I may have to rekindle that romance soon ;)

I want to say it was either covergirl or loreal..but it was a metallic baby blue cream eyeshadow that my mom gave me to play with. thinking back I'm sure it was horrendous but I thought I was the coolest thing ever.

My mother took me to the Clinique counter and bought me my first eye shadow, blush, lipstick, and mascara the summer before I started high school. Since then, Clinique has always held a special place in my heart.
