I'm sure that something similar to this has been posted on here before but I haven't come across it yet. I'm a big fan of tattoos and the stories behind the tattoos that people get. Post a pic of your tattoo and why you got it! I only have one and it's lyrics from my favorite band, animal collective, across my feet. AC has helped me through a lot of tough times so my tattoo is a reminder to be a strong and independent person!

I'm covered in tattoos, like 25+ but this ones my favourite. I got it for my brother who passed away when he was 18. I got it on the 5 year mark of his death as a reminder that he's still with me every single day.

This is my favorite tattoo I have, it's my coco Chanel tattoo, she's the reason I wanted to learn how to sew, and I have been sewing almost 15 years now <3 she is a huge inspiration to me.

The cards represents were playing the game and the hearts are ontop to show were showing all hearts and its shaped as a butterfly representing to just fly with it and the skull with the eyes crossed out means were blinded by love lol confusing I know but I got it with my boyfriend on vacation in hollywood.

Here is mine. the reason why I got it was my dad passed away when I was really young so it's for him and the fact I have always had a fascination with life and death since. Well It's the tree of life half of it is alive (obviously to symbolize life) and half of it is dead (to symbolize death) the rose is the foundation/roots of the tree to symbolize how both things are two beautiful thinks that everyone goes through at one point in there life:) (it's still not done I have 6 more hours)
