I want to wear a bikini with confidence this year. I am fairly thin and have a flat tummy and ok rest of me, but I have horrible acne on my back and chest. I want to cover it up, but every bikini/ onepeice is open at the back and chest... I want to show off my tummy cause its my best asset, but only tankinis cover enough skin to hide my back... any help girls? I also am a little flat...

Not to be a jerk but I suffer from severe back and Chest acne and no one really cares. If they do, forget them! I wear a bikini while being overweight with my acne and stretch marks and no one has ever said a thing about it. Own your bikini, posses a confidence that could kill.

You can always invest in a body wash with salicylic acid in it; I know Neutrogena makes one.

They make body washes that target acne. They can be found at the drug store. Look for the "Clean & Clear" line or one that is Tea Tree Oil based. Follow up with a paraben free moisturizer to reduce clogged pores. I'd also get some exfoliation going on once a week in the shower..but be gentle and if you have "open wounds" skip that step for now. Good luck!!

I do all that. I shower twice a day and use acne body wash, and moisturize and everything else I'm supose to. and I know no one cares, but I care. and thats all that matters.

I think seeing a Dermatologist would be a great option for you. They specialize in acne treatment and will definitely prescribe you topical medication (cream/gel lotion or spot treatments) and possibly oral antibiotics if they feel it's necessary.
It's nothing to be ashamed of! Severe acne is a medical condition which is why seeing a professional is best.
I currently use topical spot treatments, sulfur face wash, and I'm going back on antibiotics (Amoxicillin) to clear up my back, and the bigger, red bumps on my face.
If seeing a Derm isn't an option for you, I also recommend a body/face wash with salicylic acid.

Neutrogena has a 360 body spray for body acne! I haven't tried it personally but I've had luck with their other products :3

I've gone to the dermatologist since I was 6... this is actually the best my acnes ever been...

May I ask why you shower twice a day? If you dry your skin out, by nature its response is to generate oil.
I agree with Amanda. If you are already using an acne tackling wash and lotion, genetics may be at work and seeing a derm is a great option.

It is normal to oily by nauture, and I shower twice because I thought it might help...

If whatever they are prescribing you isn't working it's important you go back and inform them.
That way they can keep upping the topical/oral medication. For example, I'm currently on the highest level of Tazorac (spot treatment) because each time I went back, I was bumped up to the next level. It's basically a latter.

I would increase my C, D and Zinc intake and drink Green Tea. It reduces inflammation and detoxes the liver. I'd also follow my derms advice..if you've seen results while in their care. If not, I'd seek another doctor.

Unless you have sweat profusely by being physically active in some fashion, that second shower is most likely going to do you more harm than good. :/

I also agree with Rozberry about the second shower. Your back is a sensitive place which is your acne there should be treated delicately. I was over washing and applying too much topical medication which actually caused it to break out more.
