No matter what I use, I always
Look shiny. I hate it because it's not a good shine I just look like a suckling pig all greasy and gross. Anyway, powders tend to dry my face out, but I'm desperate because I've used matte cream foundations that don't work. Even my be cream which is suppose to be matte ends up shiny. Help?!

Wayne goss recommends milk of magnesia. Follow up with primer and then begin your makeup. Ilia makes a beautiful translucent powder that travels well. They have it available here. Also beware of your diet maybe just changing a couple foods can make a difference. Good luck

Milk of Magnesia is actually really bad for your skin and can cause bad breakouts after continued use. I highlyyy recommend using a primer before you foundation, it makes a huge difference. My favourite is Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer you can get the smaller size for $21 and it lasts for a long time. Then apply your foundation, and then apply a setting powder or setting spray. I personally like L'Oreal True Match Pressed Powder, Marcelle Pressed or loose powder, or MUFE HD Powder. For a cheaper alternative you can buy 100% mineral silica powder which is literally the exact same thing as MUFE HD Powder but it doesn't cost a fortune.
