Any tips or tricks?

A few tips for you:
-try a shampoo and conditioner that are sulfate and sodium chloride free-I like Pureology a lot for this.
-don't wash your hair as often. In fact, just avoid water. When you're in the shower, let your hair under the water ONLY as long as it takes to get it wet, and then as long as it takes to rinse out your shampoo and conditioner. If you're like me and you wash your hair first thing, wring it out and put it in a bun for the rest of your shower, to minimize contact with water.
-after you condition, rinse with cold water to seal the color in.
-add hair dye to your shampoo and conditioner to keep your color vibrant.

Aww thank you Rozberry :) I have probably more than my fair share of experience with weird hair dye haha.

I've tried sulfate free shampoos but they still weigh down my thair. And I'm on a strict budget so I can't spend a lot on hair products. I need to wash my hair everyday because I have extremely oily hair for some reason. I can try the bun idea. I already knew about rinsing with cold water and I'll try adding it to my shampoo and conditioner ^_^ thank you.

Anytime :) do you only shampoo your roots and only condition from your ears down? That could be part of the reason why it's weighing down your hair. Definitely invest in a dry shampoo, I like the Aveeno Pure Renewal dry shampoo, it works really well. Try to work with your second day hair, because it's really hard to hold color if you wash it every day :)

Yep :) I actually started doing that before I saw you talking about it lol. I've thought about getting a dry shampoo. I think I will look into getting one for sure now :)

Really happy to help :) I just realized that my other comment is unclear: if you don't shampoo only your roots and condition only from your ears down, that could be why your hair is being weighed down. Conditioner can be too heavy on the roots of our hair, and make it really greasy. I'm bad at explaining but I hope that makes some kinda sense.

Have you tried using dry shampoo to reduce washing frequency?

No I have never tried it. I have never even heard of it until a week or so ago. I'm looking into some now :)

That should hopefully cut down on your washing time. Good luck! :)
