I'm a first Timer when it comes to getting in to makeup and I need help with blending tips. I always try but in the end it turns out blochy.

Try getting a good blending brush. And practice, practice and more practice (:

I find that blending is easiest if I use a very clean blending brush and windshield wiper motions. It also helps if you apply a neutral eyeshadow from your crease to your brow bone beforehand so that you can blend your darker colors into it, instead of trying to make them fade into nothing. does that make sense?

Honestly I struggled so much and watched so many videos on youtube to get blending down pat and what I've learned is definitely get a good set of brushes, practice a lot, don't be afraid to add more color if needed, and using a clean blending brush to blend after you applied the colors helps a lot too.
