Glad that you're healthy now ❤ your wig looks fab though :)

I'm actually looking at wigs, I'm jobless so I won't be buying any but I like the idea of switching up my style from bright hair to normal on a daily basis haha. Plus it'd be better for getting jobs. But they're all so expensive in my city. Like $600+ for anything longer than shoulder level. And I haven't found a good site online that ships to Canada. :/

I'm also looking to buy a wig! I hope someone posts a good website on this thread too! :)

@ Jennalyn, I'm so glad you fought that battle and won! 💜

I just meant locally, there's really only one place that sells them here. I live in a city with a really good cancer hospital, and they provide free wigs to cancer patients, so there's tons of shops for that. But only one that sells them to the public and they only do human hair. Everywhere I've looked online it's either super expensive or decently priced but shipping is like 60$ or they don't ship to Canada or there are no reviews on it haha. I haven't looked there though, I definitely will :)

Glad you're doing strong though! I know how tough that must have been and your daughter is lucky to have a strong mom :)

My mom suffered from bulimia (that's the one you throw up with right?) anyway it wasn't until she fit pregnant (with me ☺️) that her doctor finally slapped her (he was also a family friend from when she was little) and told her for the sake of her baby shed better eat and keep it down, or he'd never let her out of his site, then left a long note in her obgyn file about it, and if the doctor had any issues to call him. Anyway she followed through and she tells everyone I saved her life ☺️ she was 86lb when she got pregnant and was 160lb by the time I was born! She has gone through sooo much post disorder, thin thin hair, horrible acid rotted teeth (the university of Alberta dentistry is actually fixing then for her for 90% off!) and now because of her weight gain, be it gradual, suffers from both hypoglycaemia and diabetes. She just recently within the past few years got into wigs, and the confidence it gives her is amazing! At first I was like mom, common a wig? But then I went to visit her ba-the-boom she was putting off this sexy vibe like no other! (Not that she wasn't very pretty before! She just actually felt pretty now and you could feel it too!)

Anyway at the end of all this is me saying way to go jennalynn!! Some people say it's not a disease, but it totally is! My mom had to retrain her brain and how she felt and thought about food. That it wasn't just calories and fat, but that it was life! I'm younger then you but damn I'm proud of you!!

I used to wear wigs for fun. You look so natural in them I hope that posting some of the side affects of anorexia will help someone on here. You look great!

I have a friend that rocks wigs and even custom cuts and colors them. He looks fabulous!

I really like you without the bangs as it opens up your entire face and shows your brows..which are fabulous!
Congratulations for beating an illness that so many suffer from. You are a surviver and incredibly brave to share your story. My best to you. <3
