Hey ladies! So I am looking for a primer that would work with my bare minerals powder foundation. I have heard nothing but great things about this primer, but I am not sure if it would work well with the mineral make up from bare minerals. Please help! I need my make up to stay on longer!

Also when you apply primer, how long should you let it dry before you apply your makeup?

Hi nicole this foundation is actually amazing I moisturize my face with fresh seaberry oil and once I apply Hourglass mineral veil it mattifies it hehe I personally think is amazing partnered with the hourglass immaculate liquid foundation but the primer I would recommend it's a yes they have samples at sephora if your iffy about it you could test it out so you won't feel you splurge if it doesn't work for you.

@diggie I have very oily skin and it does keep me less shiny throughout the day. sometimes the area around my nose looks a bit shiny after long hours of wearing it but then I'll just touch up with some powder.

Nicole, I do my skincare routine as soon as I get out of the shower, including primer. It does have time to dry before I start the makeup routine, but I don't deliberately let it dry down. There are times when I go directly from application of primer to makeup. I haven't noticed any difference and when I had a makeover they didn't wait.

Okay Maryellen! Thank you so much for getting back to me! I think I'll let the primer dry for a little bit before I apply just incase, I'm so excited to try this primer out!
