How long does henna hair dye last?

Forever lol but no, it pretty much stays in the hair for a long period of time. The color kind of deepens so it's not as noticeable but it never truly leaves the hair

What she said. ^^ I dyed the tips of my hair with henna a couple years ago and it was reddish orangish (I have dark hair) and now its like brownish

^^same. I know someone who dyed her black hair to reddish with henna last year, and there's still quite a bit left 😯

Yeah it lasts a crazy long time. It sucks though because you can't dye over it. Once you use henna, you're stuck with that color for a long time.

You can go darker, but nearly impossible to go lighter without damaging it.
