Hi! I need some advice from the lovely ladies of beautylish!! I want to change my hair be aide I'm going through a divorce. Throughout my marriage my ex husband would only let me have my hair black! Well now that I'm done with that chapter of my life, I want a new look! But I don't know where to start. I'm open to any suggestions you may have! Thanks so much!

My best advice is to try on wig when making a drastic change! I had brown hair and went to red at 11, platinum blonde at 12, and black at 13(for 2 days). The most shocking surprise was the black hair even though it was the closest to my natural color! I hated it, and it was the hardest to get rid of, I wish I had tried on a wig when I made that change! So even smaller changes may be completely shocking and big changes may not be. I would also suggest going to a professional for lightening the hair and I would ask them at the consultation what they think will look best with your features and your skin and eye colors-they usually have great suggestions. Or even hold hair swatches up to your face to see how they work together. I think you can pull it off!

Go for it!! I too needed a big change this year and I finally decided to go blonde as well. It's a little difficult to say what kind of blonde will compliment your skin tone from the picture, but I'm sure a professional can definitely help you choose a blonde tone to fit you. I also highly suggest trying out different wigs as well to get a better impression before making the big change. There are also apps that you can download to edit the color of your hair in pictures. I think my biggest advice to you if you decide to go blonde is really prepare your hair for it!! Protein and moisturizing treatments will be your best friend!! I wish I had known that before I decided to go blonde lol. It's going to be a long process, but it is definitely worth it!! I'm sure whatever you choose, it'll look great!! You're so pretty!! Good luck with everything^^!
