I want a Clarisonic for Christmas but I'm nto sure which model I should ask for. What models do you have? What do you like about your model? What do you which your clarisonic has that another clarisonic may have instead? What's missing from your clarisonic?
I've looked at the features of all of the models and a comparison of each, but are all the extras necessary or just nice? Is there that big of a difference between a Mia and a Mia II or Mia II and an Aria (other than speed setting)? Do you prefer the Plus to the smaller models? Were those important little features to you while choosing the model you bought?
Or is this just something I should leave for my parents (who would be giving me this) to pick out for me?
Any opinions or tips on choosing the right one is greatly appreciated!

i asked for the regular mia. i don't see the need for some of the other features, and def not for the plus.

Yeah, honestly the only thing I think I like better about the Mia 2 is that is comes with a case or stand or something, I don't really care about the two speeds. I am a super clean freak and I get really anal about germs in the bathroom, so I really really like that feature. Perhaps I will want the two different speeds in the future. I just sent my mommy the website and told her not to buy me anything pink, so hopefully she makes the choice for me! She'll probably buy me whatever is most expensive, hoping its the best, but I think I'd prefer the smaller Clarisonics like the Aria or Mia I or II. I feel like my mother always gets the perfect things for me personally, but its really great to hear everyone's opinions on it. I hope she has a better idea than I do of what sounds best! But keep the suggestions and comments coming! Thanks ladies! =)

Thanks for the heads up on that! oh my goodness, that pausing seems pretty annoying. Do you know if you can you turn that feature off? That would probably be a deal breaker, it just seems irritating haha!

You dont have to push the button in between pauses. It just pauses for a second then continues by itself. At least thats how the Mia 2 is.

I have the pro and honestly, the most basic one will work the same. All the feature are unnecessary, they clean the same .. :)

Sarah, Excellent review, thank you!
Do you use all three speeds or do you really just settle on one or two? I really like that it has a stand and a little warning light. Neither my boyfriend nor I have laptops that we travel with, but I do have an iPhone charger with the usb connection, do you know if you can plug it into that? I think that would be pretty awesome

i have the pro which they dont sell to the public anymore just to skincare professionals..but ya they all clean the same and use the same brush heads but you cant use the body brush heads unless u have the plus or pro. the pro has 4 speeds the plus has 3. the pro also has "pro mode" which is just reeally fast. anyway you dont have to push a button after the pause, and it only does it for the first minute of cleansing. after that it runs weithout any pausing but like i said the pause is only a short beep telling you to change areas and then it resumes :)

yeah, the mia 2 just has a brief pause telling you to move to the next area. 20 secs for your forehead, 20 nose/chin, then 10 each cheek. i only use mine once a day, at night, so *sometimes* i run it more than once because i don't feel like i'm getting enough time out of it. but i figure if that's how it's supposed to be used, that's how i usually use it. i think it's actually helpful to make sure you spend the same amount of time everywhere.
