I'm going to be buying this soon and I've heard you should get a couple of shades lighter than your actual brows, mine are black so I'm not sure if I should go for the chocolate or dark brown, I'd appreciate any help, thanks :-)

Thanks Nhung, I think that's what I'm leaning towards.

Chocolate has a warm undertone, so I'd got for dark brown :)
You could even look at Ebony

Yes I have black eyebrows and I use dark brown and Ebony. Chocolate, like Emily mentioned, has warm undertones and I'd rather have cool tones since my hair is jet black. :)

I fill in my brows typically with a black and gray shadow and mine are black as well.
The darkest shade is still light for me so I have to dip it in with a bit of black shadow.

That's what I was thinking about the chocolate too, I'll have another look at the ebony, not sure if I would be brave enough for that tho lol

Thanks for all your help ladies, think I'll go for the dark brown and see how I get on with that then maybe progress to the ebony.

I got chocolate that's what I use and it looks black,my hair is jet black and the ebony when I tried it looked like a sharpe marker lol and it takes a little practice using it if your to heavy handed its a mess so of it's too dark it's really a disaster, they didn't have dark brown at my ulta it will probably look fine to

Lol Traci, you've definitely convinced me to steer clear of the ebony for now!

Traci is right. I have ack hair and black eyebrows and the black and dark brown Dipbrows looked way too harsh, even with a light hand. I use chocolate and it looks natural.

Hmmm I think Dark Brown or Chocolate but I would swatch in store if possible. I absolutely love Dipbrow, I use Chocolate and Blonde depending on how quickly my hair fades after coloring it.

@Traci I had the same issue. Ebony made me look like the joker lol.

I have chocolate and blonde. To me, chocolate has a little reddish tone, but it goes great with my blonde hair. I would say use dark brown and just a tiny bit. A little goes a long way.
