I would take the nail tech course first. That's something you have to be certified in to work in a salon or have your own business (not like doing nails out of your house.) Versus makeup where you don't have to be certified to work, though it is helpful. I would do the classes in person because it's so much more hands on.

Sounds like you answered it for yourself. I would go back, honestly. It sucks to have to spend so much time on something you're not fond of, but it's better than doing nothing and can open up so many opportunities. I went to school for cosmetology because I wanted to do hair, then changed my mind halfway through. However, I stuck with it because I was still interested in the nail and skin aspects of it even though we didn't stress as much on those as we did hair. Totally, totally worth it.
