Are those jeans? Cause I wouldn't wear jeans.

What kind of job are you applying for?

No jeans Kelly. They are dressy slacks a thicker material. I'm applying for a Aesthetician position at a Plastic Surgeon office.
@Liz I was thinking of doing black on black with some grey and black coach flats I have.

I don't like the outfit. I would do a long pencil skirt, nice blouse tucked in, heels.

Thank you Andrea and M.G! I guess I'm just trying to avoid spending money on a new outfit. I don't own any pencil skirts :/

I personally don't like the outfit. It looks, and I'm not trying to be rude here frumpy, ill fitted , and it looks like your top is a faded black color opposed to being as dark as your pants.
You don't have to tighter pants for say, but more fitted would be ideal. You don't have to wear a black top, colors and patterns can be fun and cooler. Heels or a cute hair of flats would work all depending on what the rest of the outfit looks like.

The blouse looks a little frumpy, but that might be the angle. Can you tuck it in?
Flats are fine if that is what you are more comfortable with. As long as the shoes are closed toe, closed heel. For heels, shorter is better.

I don't dislike it, but personally, I wouldn't wear just black.. but for interviews it's very important to feel comfortable with what you are wearing. Something elegant-ish, but also something that makes you feel 'right'. If you don't like the outfit, you'll think nobody else likes it and it will take a little self-servingconfidence away - not good for the occasion.
Good luck with the interview! :-)

I don't know where serving confidence came from... I meant self-confidence!

I would switch out the black shirt to a colored blouse. If you wanted to keep it dark, a purple would be lovely. And flats are good, but if you choose heels then make sure they're close-toed.

Yeah, I would definitely wear either a nice suit or a skirt and blouse. It's need to look polished and professional.

Thanks Erin! the blouse is like a satin material so it is a tat bit lighter. The clothes is a a little lose so I might have lost weight since then. I will search in my closet for a more fitted
outfit.
@Emily The blouse is tucked in already. lol. I think I might have lost some pounds. Definitely something more fitted is what I need! and I do feel more comfortable with flats. Thanks:)

At my mall there's a trailer that will change the cut of pants for only 8 bucks maybe you could find a similar deal near you. Considering the job your applying for is for a business based on aesthetics, you might wanna modernize the look. The flats sound cute but I agree with a lot of the ladies here that the blouse should be changed. good luck!
