Can You Contour With A Matte Brown Eyeshadow?

I was wondering if any of you do this? I don't really have anything to contour with but I am getting a neutral palette in the mail tomorrow that has a matte dark brown in it.

Since you're not "supposed" to contour with bronzer, I'd say no. Maybe more o a grayish brown (:

Brown and bronze are two different things @Kenna so you can contour with matte brown shadows.

I have done that when I don't have an actual contour available. It isn't the best but it does work pretty well! :)

If you're not too pale it should work! But pale girls should definitely wait until they find a true contour color.

Yes I used a grey toned brown to contour since normal bronzers aren't a natural shadow color
