Let's chat. What make up rules do you break. There are so many sides to makeup that it's hard to keep track.

I'm interested I what you guys do.

For me it's not really A rule but I always highlight but never contour.

I use eyeliner for brows but use a light hand then go over it with a spooly and it looks good... I sometimes use bb cream as primer.

Using blush as a lippie,put pressed or translucent powder on w no concealer or foundation, and highlighting without contouring yes I'm guilty but it's what makes me feel comfortable and enhanced.

I don't throw away my make up. I don't believe in expiration dates. Unless it smells bad or starts drying out.

Fraulein just curious so does it look cakey? I use it sometimes as well but it ends up looking cakey..
I sometimes pat a lil cream blush after applying powder., I don't trim or thread my eyebrows. ( if that is a rule of makeup as everyone does it)

I use the same eyeshadow brush (elf smudge brush) for my eyeshadow, concealer, eyebrows and lips. That Brush is perfect

Eyeliner for brows (whoops) and I never curl my lashes before mascara. I can never get myself to use that contraption so close to my eyeballs. It truly freaks me out. Another one I break very often when I go to more fancy places is; I always go for a heavy everything. People say to not do heavy blush AND heavy eyeshadow, or heavy blush AND heavy lipstick, but I feel that the look is incomplete without it.
